My first audio blog that isn’t one of the Lunch Hour series, really. Please forgive me for all the (many many) mistakes … it was my first attempt, no script or notes … and no real experience doing an audio podcast. Razz

This place looks familiar

*yawn* …. ah that was a nice break.

I know you’ve all been wondering where the heck I went, and why I kinda just fell off the face of the Earth. Well truth be told, I got kinda burned out on blogging. It’s not the first time it’s happened. Occasionally, I just go through phases of wanting to do anything BUT blog/vlog/etc.

Still, this past phase was particularly rough. I think whatever got to me the last month or so was somehow ‘bigger’ than my usual phases of not wanting to blog. It lasted longer than such phases usually do with me, and honestly it went far beyond my website. For that I owe a general apology. I failed to comment on other blogs. I failed to watch other vlogs, I stopped reading the vlogger’s mailing list, I even stopped reading my email! To all the people who’s projects I missed out on, whose vlogs I didn’t comment on, whose email I didn’t answer, or whose daily routine was upset thanks to the lack of updates on DavidMeade.com, I truly am sorry.

The good news is I’m making a devoted effort to get back in the swing of things. (Not just with the website, with all sorts of things … but for now, lets focus on the website. Smile )

Honestly, I’m still not the eager beaver vlogger I once was … it still seems a bit of a chore … but I am back on the scene and there are some good signs ahead.

I have what I think is pretty cool idea for my vlog, and if I can find the time and creativity to make it work it should be a nice addition. The fact that I’m coming up with cool ideas I want to try on the vlog is a good sign. Last night I even played around with a green screen just to say I did it. The results were awful, but still … when I’m tinkering, thats a good sign.

So welcome back to DavidMeade.com … or … welcome DavidMeade.com back. I hope my taking a little break wasn’t too traumatic an experience for you … but every now and then we all need a bit of a vacation, no?

… more to come.
