Format Fix

Whew! Thank goodness that’s over …

When I added the Yahoo! Integration to the site, I also apparently broke something in the blog formatting. I do believe I have fixed it however.

Please let me know if you find any formatting problems on the site.

Thanks,

Dave

Ambulance Obstacle Course

I haven’t had Internet at home since Friday morning. It’s a nightmare. It’s amazing really how little I can find to do with my computer once it’s connection is dead. On the up side my apartment is cleaner than it would have been otherwise. On the down side I’m apparently allergic to “clean” as I feel like crap.

But I dragged myself to work today. The weather outside is about as crappy as I’m feeling. Thankfully I got a cab ok this morning (that can be a REAL pain in the ass when it’s raining).

On the way into work, as we passed a minor fender bender on Lake Shore Drive, I saw what was apparently an ambulance obstacle course. On a small paved path in one of the lakeside parks, there were several ambulances there with light on and some poor sap standing in the rain setting up traffic cones. I wish I could have stopped and watch them peel through the course in the rain – that would have been entertaining.

Anyhow … I was home sick on Monday and now I have a ton of catching up to do. All I can say is that I’d better have internet when I get home, because I’m pushin’ 5 days behind on my web surfing.

Form vs. Function

Well, I’m not sure what to think about the fact that you all thought I would pick style over comfort … I’ll take it as a compliment Very Happy

I know you are all waiting for the answer so without further ado:

Quote:
Which coat do you think I purchased?
  1. The stylish one

  2. The warm one

  3. neither … I found one somewhere in the middle ground.

The answer is …

c. neither … I found one somewhere in the middle ground.

I did debate about it quite a while, but I decided that I’m far too fat to wear the cool lookin’ one. Embarassed As for the warm one … I further decided that nobody as large as I should be wearing anything that adds that much bulk. Confused

Thankfully there was a fairly warm coat available that didn’t look too bad.
