Me and Ice Cube and the state of California…

Ok … ok … so it’s been a while since my last blog. But you see I’m a very very important person with many things going on in my life. For example Last weekend while having dinner with Ice Cube (yes really) I was officially endorsed in an unsolicited bid for the Californian gubernatorial race (yes really).

Seriously … I mean you people know me … if I weren’t serious would have spelled endorsed, unsolicited, and gubernatorial all correctly?! (Hell … would have spelled Ice Cube correctly?)

To top it all off Doug’s getting married in a few weeks. Things ’round here have been pretty busy.

Add to all of this that the 3 ugliest computer viruses since … oh … EVER all seemed to come out in the same 5 days … and well … when you work in Network Security … that’s a big deal.

But to get to the heart of what you all no doubt want to hear about … Ice Cube …

It all started as your typical Saturday afternoon. Kevin and Corrie were in town and we went out to my favorite (and stylishly over priced) restaurant in all of Chicago … “Hugo’s Frog Bar”. To make a short story shorter … Ice Cube was at the table right next to us – in town filming “Barber Shop 2″.

It was later that evening that I’d heard about my endorsement for California’s Governor. I’m honored. I’m please to have the respected and powerful tedmeade.com nod.

Quote:
“WWW.TEDMEADE.COM would like to formally announce, its endorsement of David Meade, of www.davidmeade.com, as the next governor of California. In these troubled times, new leadership is called for. That leadership must be intelligent, confident, and bold. And I’m too busy to do it myself. Vote early, vote often. Thank you, Ted Meade.”

I have much more news … but I’ll save it for another day. I know … I know … You are all wondering if this marks the end of the dry spell on davidmeade.com. Perhaps … If you are good lil’ visitors and continue to comment on my blogs and sign my guestbook then next week I will tell you all about my night on the town with Jennifer Garner and how we almost were crowned King and Queen of England.
