I’ve been into computers for a long time but all this stuff you’re doing is way over my head. I only wish I could have been born with the smarts you have!
I look forward to the new developments on your site.

Good God in Heaven…. boy did you take me down memory lane, too. I believe it was in 1978, I got my first computer. It was from Radio Shack and was a TRS-80 Model I with 4k and a cassette-based “drive” for $999.99. It’s not often that I come across someone that remembers those, along with the Commodore-64′s, etc.
I miss the days of BBS’, SysOps and such. I don’t, however, miss my 300bps modem or my text based adventure game that began something like, “You are standing at the east gate. To the north of you is a cemetary. To the west of you a haunted mansion…” But then, it was exciting. Oh, I don’t want to leave out Elisa; the artifical-intelligent software that would have a conversation with me for hours on in, only to repeat the question I just asked her.
And CompuServe… I much prefered it to AOL. Looking back, I don’t know why but at the time, I did.
I miss my portable TRS-80 Portable CP/M computer. I hate I ever traded it for what I’m sure, now, was a “hot” tape-drive from some coporation; I was so naive then.
I moved up later on to a Tandy 1000, then to a TRS-80 Model III. Nothing like a white-on-black monitor or green-on-black. And I thought it was fantastic when 20 meg drives came out. And when 4-color monitors came out for apprx. $300.00, I just had to have one!
It’s bitter-sweet thinking where computer’s are at today. But I’m so thankful that I got into computer’s when I did and saw them grow from the ground up. My ONLY regret is, my dad not buying stocks in Microsoft back then. Had he, I’m sure I’d be living in Hawaii some place sipping on a drink.
What a trip…. thanks for taking me on that stroll.
wow, that techy reminising shit is scaring me……….LOL
