Back to work!

Well, I’m back to work today. I took a sick day on Monday to help recover a bit from the killer mutant space virus that was trying to destroy me one sneeze at a time.

So I’m playing catch up today and have a bunch of meetings. I have about 2 minutes here before my next one so I thought I’d blog real quick. (I’ll try to do a lunch hour today too … it’s been a while).

Until then be sure to be surfing The Triad – some good stuff lately.

News from around the Triad:

  • Wow … it’s 3pm (nearly) and today so far has been one issue after another.

I’ve only now been able to check my voice mail from Monday and catch up on email.

My lunch hour was spent in a meeting … so no lunch hour recording today (You should be thanking me, really, I don’t expect you would have found ROI discussions much more entertaining than I did).

  • David thank you for making an audio blog. I am just getting started in the vlog arena and along comes your audio blog, you have a very nice voice and are well spoken, please keep up the good work.

If I could just do half of what you are doing, I would be happy. I am a 70 year old male and have an interest in vlogging . . . you did a very good job.

Looking forward to seeing your site again.

  • I’m so glad to see you are feeling at least a little better. And, you deserved Monday off for having to be there all night Saturday night.

    Those bastards!

  • Cutter – Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment … and thanks for the kind words.

The great news is that vlogging is actually pretty easy, and needn’t be as difficult as I like to make it! Laughing

If you haven’t already, check out http://www.freevlog.org/ for some simple instructions with video illustrations on how to get set up with a blog/vlog. Also be sure to check out the Videoblogging Yahoo! Group (There is alot of noise here sometimes but it’s a great group of vloggers and generally offers a few real nuggets of valuable chit-chat each weak).

Also please feel free contact me if I can help ya’ out. You can send me an email (david@davidmeade.com) or you can sign up as a user here at DavidMeade.com and send me private messages here on the website … either way, I’d be happy to help you get started in any way I can.

Also please do come back and visit DavidMeade.com Very Happy The website here is much more interesting with more people commenting. Wink Next time you post leave us a link to your blog or vlog (if you have one) – I’d love to check it out.

    Thanks/Welcome,

    Dave
