Exciting News

Hi everybody.

Firstly let me thank everyone for their patience as my website has taken a back seat to some other things in my life over the past few weeks.

Next, let me catch you up on some exciting new developments!

As you are all no doubt aware I took a weeks vacation Aug 15-19 during which I was to complete a long and varied list of things to do. The bad news is that I got almost none of those things done. The good news is that it was a good break from “things to do” … and I discovered a cool new computer game (which is the primary reason I got next to nothing done).

That was last week.

What happened this week holds the most exciting news.

I’m very happy to announce that I have accepted a new position in security consulting (and focusing on computer forensics) with a very cool company in downtown Chicago! My last day with my current employer is Sept. 9th and the new stuff starts on Sept. 12th. I’m really looking forward to it, it promises to be a challenging and exciting move.

It’s definitely going to keep me very busy, so the frequency of my blogs may decline just a bit. The new job will however have me traveling more often … so I expect that the percentage of vlogs to increase. (Whats more vlog worthy than seeing the sites in new and different places?)

In a few hours I’m headed back to Indiana to visit the family and will return to Chicago in a few days. I actually have a pretty long list of things to do for this weekend, hopefully I’ll get to all of them.
