So that’s how they do it in cars. A suction cup! I must get one of those. Just to help me climb up walls as much as anything. Not that I’m the type to talk to camera much, but maybe November is the month to start. Good luck.
Oh and sorry can’t help you with your mac problem. I have a mac, but not sure of a remedy for your problem.
Let\’s rock!
Screw the importing, compressing, la-di-da.
Just copy the files to your computer and upload them direct to Blip. Let Blip convert to Flash, then embed the Flash player.
If you want to add titles, or cut more than one clip together, do it in Quicktime Pro.
Copy the clips to your computer, open them in quicktime pro, do a basic copy & paste edit of different clips & titles.
You can trim the individual clips by setting In and Out points on the timeline and choosing Trim To Selection. Then paste them together.
Then Save. It takes seconds, and you end up with a finished mov file, which you can upload to Blip. Doesn\’t matter how big it is, really, if you embed with Flash.
Although if you do want to reduce your mov file size, you could set the recording resolution on the Xacti to 320×240, no?
This route should take minutes rather than hours!
arrgh! Someone disconnected the speakers on the computer at work! I was going to use some 5:50am downtime for NaVloPoMo watching! Grrr…I guess I\’m going to have to catch up with it all on Monday!
I, for, one, will be taking Rupert\’s sage advice! SIMplicity is key, here!
