It was like our Senior Trip to the Planetarium except that this time I was in my own apartmentand I wasn't buzzed off the vodka and orange juice consumed in the restroom. <br /> <br /> We humans have a funny way of forgetting (or downright ignoring) the enormity of space. We're so very teensy. <br /> <br /> My favorite planet is Mercury. Poor Mercury. Always forgotten. Ask a random person to name the planets and Mercury is always last. Not the biggest or the smallest, or The One With Rings, or the one with the people on it, or the one there's all that science-fiction about, or the one with the funny name that makes people laugh well into adulthood. Mercury is an underdog planet. I like an underdog. I also like The Mets. That was really neat !
