Brace for the crime wave …
I was writing my “reality TV” blog when I heard the news. ‘Superman’, Christopher Reeve, has died. This is a sad day indeed. ![]()
This seems worthy of a quick blog, so I’ll save the Reality TV blog for tomorrow. That means you have one more day to vote and try to influence the result.

Yes, it is a sad day indeed!
I was in shock when I heard about it today. He was so sure that he would live long enough to walk again, that I think he had everyone else believing in him too! (At least I did!).
I saw a little segment on the Today show this morning and he was truly an amazing man. In his 9 years since the injury, he has sure done a lot with making people aware of spinal chord injuries and all the research that is still needed there.
One of the doctors that had been working with him since right after his injury, summed it up nicely, he said that Christopher Reeve taught him the importance of 2 four-letter words – HOPE and CURE! He HOPES that they find a CURE some day……and so do I!

Christopher Reeve inspired me as a kid when he acted as Superman, and he inspired me as an adult when he acted like Superman after his accident. They guy was a class act.

If we could all handle adversity with such grace the world would be much better off.
I must go blog about him…
