Form vs. Function
Well, I’m not sure what to think about the fact that you all thought I would pick style over comfort … I’ll take it as a compliment ![]()
I know you are all waiting for the answer so without further ado:

Which coat do you think I purchased?
|
The answer is …
c. neither … I found one somewhere in the middle ground.
I did debate about it quite a while, but I decided that I’m far too fat to wear the cool lookin’ one.
As for the warm one … I further decided that nobody as large as I should be wearing anything that adds that much bulk. ![]()
Thankfully there was a fairly warm coat available that didn’t look too bad.

Gee David. Thanks for ruining my nice little money-making scheme. I fully expected Audra and Doug to get into a high-priced bidding war for my inside knowledge about your coat purchase. I hope the ladies look at you in disdain in your ‘not as hip as I could be” and “not as warm as I would like to be” coat.

LOL
now that’s a blog comment!
I fear I have awoken a sleeping giant.
And for the record, I’m as hip as it gets … and yes the ladies do look at me in disdain.

DAMN! I can’t believe I was wrong. I thought I knew you pretty well, I guess not.
I am still happy to see that you didn’t choose complete warmth over SOME style.
And no kidding about the “awakening of the sleeping giant”. Todd has had some pretty funny “blog” comments. Where were you all this time Todd? Keep on truckin’ man, keep on truckin’!
P.S. I still haven’t seen your new coat and you sit right around the corner from me. I guess I better come check it out….I am on my way, so get ready to do some runway walkin for me mister!

hmmm I didn’t take your BMI into consideration.
But vanity kept you from warmth so I still count myself as correct.
